<br />Minutes of a meeting of the Council of the
<br />Village of North 01r.lsted, Ohio.
<br />PrESent were E. Baumgardrier, R. Biddulph, H. K. Bidwell,
<br />F. Crider, Wm. H. Kramer, Dan Romp. Dr. Leviis was absent.
<br />In the absence of Dr. Levris, P,Zr. Kramer took the cliair.
<br />The minutes of PIov. 1, 1949 SRrere read and apt)roved.
<br />?lx• Dufala of W. 231st St., again complained about the stones j
<br />in the ditch on the La Possa praperty. P.Zr. Biddulph stE.ted
<br />, that he yJOUld Ask Mr. Schemrich to remove the stones.
<br />Mr. Kenneth Rosinb of. Rosing Builders requested that trie property
<br />wESt of trie N. 0. Lumber Co., be chan6ed from residence to
<br />business in order for them to build an office and Urarehouse.
<br />The matter rvas referred to the Planning Corunission.
<br />Mr. Baumgardner reported thQt the Transportation Committee
<br />recornmended that two more new busses be delivered.

<br />P;iotors deliver the one coach left for 1949 and one coach
<br />scheduled for delivery in 1950 be deliverEd as saon as possible.

<br />Mr. Biddulph reported that the Villase vrith the drag-line had.
<br />cleaned the Boesger ditch a long time ago, and that vrhen the
<br />ditch was dug iJ:r. Boesger stopped the diggingp and the ditch
<br />was t31ed. The tile are now pluEged up and Mr. Boesber wants
<br />the tile clEaned and the ditch filled up. The matter P1&S
<br />referred back to the Ditch Corr??nittee to investigate and report
<br />back to Council.1-E.r.?-??3,
<br />bir. Biadulph reported that on the Ben Wise prop,erty there are
<br />some 18 inch crock laid in the ditch which are too small and
<br />recommended that these 18 inch be taken out and replaced with
<br />22 inch.
<br />Moved by mr. Baumzardner seconded by l;"r. Crider that the Village
<br />have the 18 inch crock removed and 7= 22 inch crock be laid.

<br />Plioved by 1;1r. Baumgardner seconded by 14ir. Bidwell that the
<br />cement block walls in the new bus garage addition be vraterproofed.

<br />The Engineer reported that a sidewalk on south Colu.mbia Road should be laid on the west side of the Street, that it would
<br />cost ',",-1.75 per foot for a 5 foot walk assessable on both sides.
<br />The TJiatter was referred to the Sidewalk Committee to investigate
<br />the possibilities and report back.' Mr. Crider stated that he
<br />would take the petition dov:n'there.
<br />Cornmunications vrere rcceived from Chas. mandley at 23110, IvIyrtle
<br />Gelhke at 23170 and :,Piary Ec Jack Tuefel at 23172 Lorain Road,
<br />requesting that there properties be rezoned from residence to
<br />business. Moved and seconded that the above matter be referred
<br />to the Planning Commission. "Yeas" Baumgardner, Biddulph, Bidwell,
<br />Crider, Kramer, Romp. .
<br />Resolution #1567 was introduced by 'Mr. Baumgardner. A Resalution
<br />transferring appropriations. liioved and seconded that the above
<br />resolution be adoptEd as read. "Yeas" Baungardner, Bid.dulph,
<br />Bid?Frell, Crider, Kramer, Romp.
<br />l:oved by Mr. Biddulph seconded by I47r. I3aur.lLardner that the Clerk
<br />be instructed to write the City Water Dept., and request a check'
<br />up of'water meters, and that they repair any meters out of order.
