Oct. 4, 1949 <br />Minutes of a meeting of the Council of the <br />Village of iJorth Olmsted, 0. <br />Present vrere Dr. C. B. Lewis, tiayor, E. Eaumoardner, R. Biddulph, <br />F. Crider, ti1im. H. Kramer, Dan RoMp. IJIr. Bidviell was absent. The minutes of Sept 21st and 27th vvere read and approved. <br /> <br />tgr. Romp reporting for the corlmittee that met vrith the Sportsman's <br />Club recommended the f'ollowing. That no hunting be permited <br />vrithin 500 feet of any buildin?;. That everyone that hunts in <br />Tlorth Olmsted gets a Village permit vrith mimeographed copies <br />of rules and resulations. That a number of inen be deputized <br />to help enforce the Orc3inance and Eive t^:hatever other help <br />needed. That hunting be kept open for at least Another year. <br />Ordinance #779 was introduced by Nir. Romp. An Ordinance <br />regulating huntino in Idorth Olmsted. Moved and seconded that <br />the statutory rule be suspended and the ordinance be read <br />immediately the second and third times And put on its passa;e. <br />The affirmative vote on said motion vras as follotivs, Baumgardner, <br />Biddulph, Crider, Kramer, Romp. Thereupon the ordinance was <br />reaa the second and third times and put upon its passage and the <br />affirmative vote thereon was as follows., Bau:ngardner, Biddulph, <br />Crider, Kramer, Romp. <br />lTr. Tom RobinJon requested the Village to open Grace Ave and <br />repair sewer crock which are broken. The concensus of opinion <br />of Council was that the request be refused, that the Council <br />did not want to have anythinG to.do with it. Moved by idir. Crider seconded by Tvir. Romp that the Clerk be <br />instructed to return T.1r. Robinson+s check t'or ?100.00 and <br />revoke street opening permit #32. "Yeas" Baum;_;ardner, <br />Iliddulph, Crider, Kramer, Romp. <br />i'Qrs. Joecken requested that the zoning of her land at the <br />southeasterly corner of Lorain and Clague Roads be re-zoned <br />for business. r;Tr. Bowen requested that the zoning of his land <br />at the northeasterly corner of Lorain and Clague Roads. <br />a:oved by Mr. Biddulph seconded by Mr. Crider that the above <br />matter be referred to the Planning Commission for action. <br />"Yeast' I3aumsardner, Biddulph, Crider, Kramer, Romp. <br />Mr• Gottleib Fege from Root Road requested anuextension <br />of the water line. <br />rlloved by I;2r. Harry Crider again complained about the dirt and brush <br />along his driveway from cleaning the ditch. <br />PrIr. Nadar requested that his property at the northeasterly <br />corner of Lorain and W. 231st St., be changed from residence <br />to business. • <br />P,Zoved by Mr. Rorap seconded by P:ir. Baumgardner that the aboVe <br />matter be referred to the Planning Commission. "Yeas" <br />Baurngardner, Biddulph, Crider, Kramer, Romp. <br />The lyiayor brouGht up the matter of rent control. <br />Resolution #1582 was introduced by Mr. BaumEardner. A Resolution <br />to provida for the termination of the rent control in the <br />Village of T3orth Olmsted. Y?oved by rgr. Baum6ardner--seconded <br />bY gflr.
