<br />The Solicitor was instructed to obtain abstract from Fred Koelewyn and Lawrence
<br />Swartz and proceed with escrow in connection with the land for the Recreation
<br />Field. "Yeast' Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.
<br />It was moved and seconded that the Engi.neer be authorized to survey and stake
<br />the Koelwyn a,nd Swartz properties for the Recreation Field. "Yeast, Baumgardner,
<br />Hatton, Krarner, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.
<br />The En;ineer reported that 63% of the frontage was signed up for the ti'dalter
<br />Road water main, f roM Gessner Road to Maple Ridge Road.
<br />The Engineer reported an estimated cost of $5.4535 per foot for constructing
<br />a water line on McKenzie Road from Iorain Road to the south line of John and
<br />Piary Maruschak ls property.
<br />The Engin,eer reported an estimated cost of $6.9644 per foot for constructing
<br />a water main on G1adland Avenue, its entire length. _
<br />Resolution ;-?16?.3 was introduced by Mr. Kramer. A Resolution declaring it neces-
<br />sary to improve Walter Road from Gessner Road to haple Ridge by constructing
<br />therein a ti,rater main. It was moved and seconded that the statutory rule be
<br />suspended and the Resolution be read immediately the second a.nd thi.rd times and
<br />put on its passage, The affirmative w te on said motion was as follows:
<br />Baumgaxdner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott. Thereupon the Resolution
<br />was read the second and third times anct put upon its passage and the affirma-
<br />tive vote was as follows: Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.
<br />Resolution #1644 was introduced by,Mr. Baumgardner.. A Resolution declarinb it

<br />Joe Stem.itz advised the Council that the land through which Brookpark Road
<br />IlOuld be built, was up for tax sale.
<br />Mr. Snahnican requested a petition to extend the water line on Root Road.
<br />Mr. Carl Schneider requested a petition.for water on Flehearty ftoad.
<br />Mr. Venseen from Elmhurst Road wanted to lmow why building permits t,rere not
<br />being issued in that area. The Mayor advised that the County Board of Health
<br />W°u1d not issue septic tank perrsits for homes in that section.
<br />Edward Smerk stated that he had been granted a septic tank permit by the
<br />County Board of Health for E]mhurst Road. He was advised to see the Building
<br />inspector.
<br />MrS• Dunn complained about the hole in front of her mailbox on Guildford, and
<br />requested that the roads be fixed.
<br />Ordinances #glg and #819 were given their second readin;s,
<br />4rdinance #824 yras in??duced by Dr. Lewis. An Ordinance consenting to the
<br />improvement of Columbia Road, north of Lorain NAad, by applying an asphaltic con-
<br />crete base. It was moved and secor_ded that the statutory rule be suspended and
<br />the Ordinance be read immediately the second and third times and put on its
<br />passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Bawngardner,
<br />Hatton, Kra,mer, I,ewi,s, Paddock, Soott. Thereupon the Ordinance was read the
<br />second and third times and put upon its passage, and the affirmative vote was
<br />as follows: Bawmgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, Scott.
