<br />Minutes of a meeting of the Council
<br />of the Village of Zdorth Olmsted.
<br />Present were D. L. Douglass, Mayor, H. R. Bidwell,
<br />L. F. Decker, A. Fawcett, G. Oldham, G. E. Stearas, G. To;ies.
<br />The minutes of Feb. 6th were read and approved.,

<br />Resolution #I07I was introduced by lir. Stearns. A Resolution
<br />authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to enter into contract with
<br />the City of Cleveland for broadcasting Police radio calls.
<br />P,Toved by Mr. Stearns seconded by Mr. Fawcett that the statu-
<br />tary rule be suspended and the resoluti.on be read imediately
<br />the second and third times and put on ita passage. The affirm-
<br />ative vote on said motion was as follows, Bidtivell, Decler,
<br />Fawcett, Oldham, Stearns, Tomes. Thereupon the resolution
<br />was read the second a.nd third tir.i°s and put upon its passage,
<br />and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows, Bidwell,
<br />Decker, Fawcett, Oldham,.Stearns, Tomes.
<br />Resolution #I072 was introducEd by 11r. BidMell. A Resolution
<br />authorizing the Solicitor to settle the case of Eileen Regnolds
<br />vs the Village of North Olmsted. riioved by Mr. Sidwell seconded
<br />by P+'ir. Stearns that the statutory rule be suspended and the
<br />resolution be read immediately the second and third times and
<br />put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was
<br />as follows, Bidivell, Decker, Fawcett, Oldham, Stearns, Tomes.
<br />Thereupon the resolution was read the second and third times
<br />and put upon its passage and the a.ffirmative vote thereon tivas
<br />as follows, Bidwell, Decker, Fawcett, Oldham, Stearns, Tomes.
<br />The Safety committee reported that they had met'and recozmnended
<br />that Richard King be appointed Deputy il2arshall, and the matter
<br />of Carl Haettich be deferred until a later date.
<br />The Iiayor appointed Richard King Deputy Marshal.
<br />Resolution #I073 was introduced by Mr. ?s. A Resolution
<br />confirming appointment of Richard King asputy Marshal.
<br />gRoved by Mr. Stearns, seconded by Mr. Oldham that the above
<br />resolution be adopted as read. "Yeas" Bidwell, Decker,
<br />Fawcett, Oldham, Stearns, Tomes.
<br />The matter of setting up rules and regulations for the Bus
<br />Line was discussed. Resolution #I074 vTas introduced by Mr. Stearns. A Resolution
<br />authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to purchase a typevlriter, in
<br />an amount not to exceed $75.00. Moved by Mr. Stearns seconded
<br />by N1r. Bidy.ell that the statutory rule be suspended and the
<br />rssolution be read immediatelg the second and third times and
<br />put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was
<br />as folloUrs, Bidwell, Decker, Fawcett, Oldham, Stearns, Tomes.

<br />authorizing the Solicitor to take necessary legal action to
<br />declare Senate Bill 235 unconstitutional. Moved by 1.1r. Oldham
<br />seconded by rrir. Tomes that the above resolution be adopted as
<br />read. "Yeas" Bidtivell, Decker, Fawcett, Oldha.m, Stearns, Tomes.
<br />Communication vras received from the Suburban Nevrs stating that
<br />they would enter into contract for all legal advertising giving
<br />us a 25°a discount from regular legal rates.
<br />Resolution #I076 yras introduced by Mr. Stearns. Authorizing
<br />the Mayor and Clerk to enter into contract vrith Suburban News
