<br />A motion was made by Mr. Neubauer and second°d by Mr. Krasner that the minutes of

<br />February 21, 1956 be approved as corrected.
<br />A motion was ma,de by r. Baker and seconded by Mr. Schrrenk that the bond oi'
<br />Louis W. Miller's Parub-Division in the amount of $9,000.00 (for sidewalk and '
<br />pavin$) by the General Casualty CcenparLy of America, be approved. "Yeas" Baker, Crider,
<br />Kramer, MacDonald,'Neubauer, Schwenk,
<br />Mr. Neubauer, Chairman of Transportation, `stated that a meeting was held of North
<br />4lmsted, Fairvie-d and Westgate., regarding the Westgate run. He presented a letter
<br />fr°m the Westgate businessmc-n offering to subsidize one bus by paying up to 40¢ per Zile, plus 02.00 an hour for the driver for 9huttle service for a sixty-c3ay trial
<br />??ead. Any net operating loss shall be made up by the t?festgate Merchants Aasociation- I
<br />e to be 15¢ or 5¢ transfer from the main line. I
<br />A motion zras made by Mr. Neubauer and seconded by Mr. MacDonald that we accept the
<br />proposition of the Westgate Merchants Association. "Yeas" MacDonald, Neubauer,
<br />Schwenk. uNaygn $akgr, Criders Kramer." There being a tie vote, the President of
<br />Councilcast hie vote "yea."
<br />The Sagety-Service Director requested that the minutes show that neither he or the
<br />Adrainistration were consulted on any of these negotiations. ;
<br />Mr. Neubauer stated that'en addition to the bus garage was discussed. At about i$5•0o Per sq. ft, eost would run in the neighborhood oF $16,000.00 based on an addi-
<br />tion of 80 x 40.
