<br />The Satety-Service Director reported that he attended a meeting in the County '
<br />Auditor's office ; regarding the revaluation of property. ': One of the subjecta dis-
<br />cussed was re-subdividing large tracts. The state`statute says that the '?.
<br />PZanning Camnission can sub-divide. Where there are less than tive lots, our
<br />p?anning Cammission does this on its own,'but on larger parcels must have Council
<br />apl?oval. The question cmme up as to the policing of it. Does the County Auditor
<br />check to see whether or not the Planning Ccmmi$sion O.K.+d ar?y sub-divisions,
<br />and the Auditor's of fice said that by law? if aqy city or political sub-division
<br />did not pass a corresponding ordinance after public hearing, that theq had no right "
<br />to police that statute. The matter was reYerred to the Solicitor Yor fwrther in- _
<br />vestigation as to tbe proCedure of the County Auditor., arxi to recommenl whether `
<br />02' not the City of North Olmsted should paaa such an Ordinance: ?
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Neubauer and seconded by Mr. Decker., that the Service '
<br />DiY'ector be authorized to enter into contract with tha Cleveland Electric Illumi-

<br />The SaYety-Service Director read a letter fran the City of xocky River regarding
<br />the renewal of teletype service contract, which will expire on June ls 1956. The
<br />14atter was referred to the Safety Ccmmittee.
<br />: The 5afety-Service D3rector recaanmended'that`the street resuriacing'program'be
<br />checked to see which streets need attention, and hour much monep will be available
<br />Yor thi8 work. The matter was referred to the'Street Cammittee.
<br />??ance #2265 was introduced by Mr. Kramer. An Ordinance to make appropriations
<br />current expenses and other expenditures of the City or North Olmsted, Ohio dur-
<br />14 the fiscal year ending Deceonber 31, 1956. It was moved and seconded that the
<br />$tatutory ru].e be suspezyded and the Ordinance'be read immediately the second and
<br />third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as
<br />?he ows: Baker, Crider, Deckers Kramer, MacDonald? Neubauer, Schwenk. Theraupon

<br />Neubauer. stated that it was satigYactory with the Fairview Transportatioa
<br />C°mmittee to mova the bus changeover Prom West 220th Street to West 217th Street.
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Neubauer and seconded by Mr. Schwenk that the labor rats
