<br />Present were Dr, C. B. Lewis, Mayor, L. H. Baker, Harry M. Crider, R. L. Aecker.,
<br />R. G. Knapp, Igill.iam H. Kramer., R. G. Neubauer,, G. H. Schwenk. Mr. Baumgardner
<br />was absent. •
<br />In the absence of Mr. Bawngardner, AZr. Neubauer took the chair.
<br />Ordinance #2173 was introduced by Mr. Kramer, An Ordinance to approve and adopt
<br />the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year of 1956. It was
<br />moved and seconded that the statutory rule be suspended and the Ordinance be read
<br />immediately the second and third tames and put on its passage. The affirmative
<br />vote on said motion was as follaws: Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer, Schwenk.
<br />1'hereupon the Ordinance was read the second and third times and put upon its pas-
<br />sage and the affinnative vote thereon was as follows: Baker., Crider, Decker., Knapp.,
<br />Kramer., Schwenk.
<br />Resolution #2174 was introduced by Mr. Schwenk. A ftesolution to determine to
<br />proceed with the election of the question and the issuance of bonds in the swn of
<br />$140,000.00 for the erection of two fire houses. It was moved and seconded that
<br />the statutory rule be suspended and the Resolution be read immediately the second
<br />anc3 third times and put on its passage. The affixmative vote on said motion was
<br />as follows: Baker, Crider, Declcer, Kna,pp, Kramer., Schwenlc. Thereupon the Resolu-
<br />tion was read the second and third ti.mes and put upon its passage and the a.ffixma-
<br />tive vote thereon was as follows: Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer, Schwenlc.
<br />Ordinance #2175 was introduced by Mr. Crider. An Ordinance amending Ordinance
<br />#2161 entitled "An Ordinance amending Ordinance #696 entitled Ordinance fi-'cing
<br />and determining salaries and bonds of elected officials of the City of North
<br />Olmsted." It was moved and seconded that the statutory rule be suspended and the
<br />Ordina,nce be road immediately the second and third times and put on its passage.
<br />Ths affirmative vote on said motion was as follaw3: Baker, Crider, Aecker, Knapp,
<br />Kramer., Schwenk. Thereupon the Ordinance was read the second and third times and
<br />put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follrnws: Baker, Crider,
<br />Decker, Knapp, Kramer., Schwenlt.
<br />A communication Vras read frcQn the Planning Commission recormendinb to Council that
<br />the plat of Sweetbriar Sub Division be accepted for recording Varposes only.
<br />Resolution #2176 was introduced by Iir. Baker. A Resolution accepting the plat of
<br />Sweetbriar Subdivisiono for subdivision and recording purposes only. It was moved
<br />and seconded that the statutory rule be suspended and the Resolution be read imme-
<br />diately the second and third times and put on its passage. Tho affirmative vote on
<br />said motion was as follows: Baker., Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer., Schwenk. There-
<br />upon the Resolution vias read the second and third times and put upon its passage.

<br />Mr. Decker was excused from the raeeting. -
<br />A petition was received for a water line on Coe Avenue.
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Baker and seconded by Mr. Schwenlt that the petition be
<br />referred to the Engineer. "Yeas" Bakerj, Crider, Knapp., Kramer, Schwenk.
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Knapp and seconded by Mr. Kramer that the Engineer estim.ste
<br />the amount of fi11 dirt that could be sald off the corner property. "Yeas" Baker,
<br />Crider, Knapp, Kramer., Schvrenlc. The meeting adjourned to the call of the Clerk.
