<br />The Recreation Commiasion.appeared before Council'3n regard to legislation to permit
<br />a bond issue in the amourit of $150,000,00 to be put on the ballot at the Fall Election
<br />for a swimming pool. Mr. Levy said he checked at the County Auditor'g office and
<br />tound our present valuation to be $19,015004.00. It will cost approx3mately $2.65 .,
<br />. a year for twenty years for a person whoae house is assessed at $5,000.00. Mr. Einar
<br />r Borch showed some photographs of swimming pools suitable for our use and said the
<br />eize of pool reccmaended for 12,000 to 14,000 population was 70 x 105. The next sizs
<br />.was $O x'120 tor 20,000 population. He stated the plan included parking area for .
<br />250 to 300 cars.
<br />A motion wa$ made by Mr. Crider and seconded by Mr. Decker that the 3olicitor be
<br />instructed to prepare legislation to paut a$150,OOO.CO bond issue Yor a surinnaing pool '
