<br />MINUTES OF A 15MTING OF THE COUIICIT, OF THE CITY OF

<br />Present were 'Ur. C. B. Levris, Mayor, E. W. Baumgardner, President of Council,
<br />L. H. Baker, Harry M. Crid.er, R. L. Decker, R. 'G. Knapp, 6Jilliam H. Kraraer,
<br />Ralph G. Neubauer, G. H. Schwenk. •
<br />A motion was mide by Mr. Schwen.k and seconded by PZr. Kramer that the minutes of
<br />October`5, 1954 be approved as read. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer
<br />Neubauer, Schwenk.

<br />The Service Director stated that we Vrould be ready to pick up garbage November lst,
<br />and that notices will be ssnt to all residents.
<br />Mr. Decker, Chaixrsan of Transportation, stated that a m.eeting had been held on
<br />October 14th with the Bus Drivers' Coramittee, and that another meeting was
<br />scheduled for the last week in October - also that the Westlalce Transportation
<br />Committee wanted to meet with our conunittee.
<br />Mr. Neubauer stated that he had a request for additional street lights on North
<br />Clague Road.
<br />The Mayor stated that due to the fact that November 2nd is Election Day, the next
<br />regular meetino of Council would be held on November 3rd.
<br />The Mayor read a communication fram the Water Pollution Control Board enclosing
<br />renewal of our pertnit which expires February 15, 1955. Renewal of permit is con-
<br />tingent upon compliance with the following conditions:
<br />l. Prepare detail plans specifications and estimates of cost of proposed
<br />C].ague Road trunk sewer and Mastick Road trunk sewer arid secure the ap-
<br />proval thereof by the Ohio Department"of Health.

<br />?_. Submi.t to the tdater Pollution Control'Board with application for renewal
<br />? of this pertn3.t or prior thereto inforraation showing when the project will
<br />ba placed under construction.
<br />3. Submit to the 0?zio Department of Health evidence showzng that North Olznsted
<br />has forn?ally entered into an agreement with other political sub-divisions
<br />of County Sewer Districts to provide for the proper modification of sewage
<br />'froin North Olmsted before its discharge_to the waters of the state.:
<br />The Mayor 'read an excerpt from the Annua.l rZeport of the Regional Planni.ng Commis-
<br />sion wherein they stated that the sevrage treatment plant in Rocky River and owned
<br />3ointly by that city, Bay Village a.nd Fairviet,r Park will probably be enlarged to
<br />serve seven cities and villa.oes plus 07msted Township.
<br />A communication was reaci'from George D. Rager, legal counwel for Elwin Limpert of
<br />Canterbury Road, regarding the ditch which crosses his property. The Service
<br />nirector said he would meet with Nir. Kager and Mr. L3npert, along with Mr. Dean,
<br />the En;ineer, the Street Commissioner and Mr. Lavoie, the builder, next Saturday
<br />morning in an endeavor to arrive at a solution to this problem. ,
<br />Mr. Crider inquired about the crock running through the Pau1 Paasig prapertys and
<br />the Service Director reported that he would investigate and report back at the
<br />next meeting.
<br />A' motion was made bf TY:r. Schvienk and seconded by Mr. Neubauer, that the bond of
<br />McSteen & Brooks in the amount of $7800,00 for the installation of a water main
<br />on Koot.Road by the Aetna Casualty Insurance Co. be approved. °Yeas" Baker, Criders

<br />`Ordinance #2054 was introduced by Mr. Baker. An Ordinance aecepting plat of Dan
<br />Benuska Subdivision No. 2 for dedication and recording. It was r?oved and seconded
<br />?that the statutory rule be suspended and the Ordina,nce be read ir.nmediatel,y the
<br />second and third tin.es and put on its passage. The affir.native vote on said moticn
<br />Was as follows: Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer, Neubauer, Schwenk. There-
<br />-upon the Ordin,-nce was read the second and third times and put upon its passage
<br />and the affir.?native vote thereon was as.folloiTS: Balcer., Crider., Decker, Knapp,
<br />Kramer, Neubauer, Schwenk.
