<br />The r2ayor declared October 3rd to 9th FIRE PNEVEIdTION tiIIIIS.
<br />The Mayor read a letter from Mr. Kahler expressing his appreciation in connection
<br />with his being chosen the "Citizen of the Year. " He also read a conmnunication from
<br />the Board of Elections directing attention to the General Election which will be
<br />held on Tuesday, November 2, 1954 - 6:30 A. ri. to 6:30 P. M,
<br />The Mayor reported that ho ha.d attended the Ohio Municipal League meeting in
<br />Columbus recently and that he would submit his report a little later.
<br />Ox'dinance #201+9 was introduced by Mr. Aleubauer. An Ordina.nce determining to pro-
<br />ceed with the improvement of Barton Road froQn end of existing main `to county,
<br />line by constructing therein a water main. It was moved and seconded that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the OrdinancQ be read imrnediately the second and
<br />third times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as
<br />follot,,rs; Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer., Neubauer, Schwenk. Thereupon
<br />the Ordinance was read the second and thirri tirnes and put upon its passage and the
<br />affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Balcer., Crider, Decker, Knapp, Kramer.,
<br />Neubauer, Schwenk. Resolution #2050 was introduced by Mr. Kramer. A Resolution requssting the Auditor
<br />to furnish a certificate of the estimated life or useful.ness of the improvement of
<br />$az`ton Road from end of existing main to county line by constructing thereiri a water
<br />main. It was moved and seconded tha,t the above Resolution be adopted as read.

<br />The undersiBned, City Auditor, as the i'iscal officer of the City of North
<br />Olmsted, Ohio, as defined by Section 133.01 of the xevised Code of Ohio, hereby
<br />certifies as follows:
<br />1. That the estimated life of the property or improvement referred to in your
<br />Resolution #2050 of October 5, 1954, is hereby certified to be zt least ten years.
<br />2. The maximum maturity of such'notes ctil.culated in accordance with the provi-
<br />sions of Section 133.20 of the Revised Code of Ohio is two years.
<br />3. The max3mum maturity of the bonds contemplated by said ordinance authorizing
<br />issuing of notes is ten years.
