<br />Present were vr. C. B. Lewi9, Mayor, E. W. Baumgardner, President of Council,
<br />L. H. Baker, Harry M. Crider, R. L. Decker, R. G. Knapp, Ralph G. Neubauer.,
<br />G. H. Schwenk. Mr. Kramer was absent. -
<br />'A motion was made by Mr. Neubauer and seconded by Mr. Knapp that the m3nutes of
<br />September 7? 1954 be approved as read. "Yeas" Ba,ker, Crider, Decker, Rnapp,
<br />Neubauer, Schwenk.
<br />Amotion was made by Mr. Schwenk and seconded by Mr. Neubauer that the minutes of
<br />, SePtember 16., 1954 be approved as read. "Yeas" Baker,, Crider, Decker, Knapp,,
<br />Neubauer, Schwenk. . ``rhe Safety-Service Director presented the plat of Dan Benuska Sub-Division #2
<br />` request3ng approval on the ability of the developer to furnish bond for completion Of said develop¢nent.
<br />A motion was made by rsr. Knapp and seconded by Mr. Decker that $27,500.00 of Dan'
<br />Benuska's Borid on the #1 Sub-Division be released, thereby holding $1?500.00 of it
<br />` until the black-topping is completed. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp,,
<br />Neubauer, Schwenk.
<br />Orainance #2037 was introduced by Mr. Baker. An Ordinance accepting the plat of
<br />Dan Benuska Sub Division #2. It was moved and seconded t hat the statutory rule
<br />be suspended and the Ordinance be rea.d i,mttediately the second and third times and
<br />put on its passage. The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Baker,
<br />Crider, Decker, Knapp, Neubauer, Schwenk. Thereupon the Ordinance was read the
<br />second and third times and put upon its passage and ths affirmative wte thereon
<br />was as follows• Baker, Crider, Decker Neubauer, Schwenk.

<br />AMotion was made by Mr. Schwenk a,nd seconded by Mr. Baker that the bond of Dan
<br />Benuslsa in the amount of $45,000.00 by the Colwnbia Casualty Campany of New York
<br />be approved. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp, Neubauer., Schwenk.
<br />Ordiriance #203$ was introduced by 24r. Baker. An Ordinance to vacate a portion of
<br />the northerly end of Ranchview Avonue as shown by Dan Benuska's Sub-Division Plat

<br />Ordinance be read immediately th e second and t hird times and put on its pa.ssage.
<br />The affirmative vote on said motion was as follows: Baker, Crider, Decker, Knapp,
<br />Neubauer, Schwenk. Thereupon the Ordinance was read the second and third times and
<br />Aut upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows: Baker, Crider,

<br />xhe Solicitor advised that he had received the statement of ownership on Brookpark
<br />Extension. . .
<br />A motion was made by rTr. Schwenk and seconded by Mr. Decker that the Engineer
<br />prepare dedication plats for Brookpark Extension. "Yeas" Baker, Crider., Decker,

<br />The 14ayor proclaimed NATIONAL CATHOLIC YOUTH tiim from October 31 to November 7., 1954o He read a communication from Robert J. Wolf.regarding a broken wrist staffered

<br />4175•00; however,, the Mayor stated he would a:k for an itemized statement before
<br />doing anything about this.
<br />tra ?ayor read a corumunication from P. DiGioia? asking to be released from his con-
<br />to install a water main on Louis Drive. It was the consensus of opinion of
<br />COUncil that Mr. DiGioia go through with the project.
<br />Hhe MaYor stated that the Church of the Nazerene had requested the use of the City all for about six weeks on Sunda,y afternoons frout 2:30 to 5:00. He also mentioned
<br />that a request had been made to erect a campaign sign for Judge tidalter T. Kinder.
