The Mayor read a <br />communication fron Cleveland Electric I11uminating Compary regarding the increase <br />in the unit rate for street lighting, and giving notice of cancellation of the exist- <br />ing contract, effective as of March 1, 1955. <br />The Mayor appointed R, L, Decker, h'm. H. Kra:ner, Ralph G. Neubauer and Forrest G. <br />Kitson to form the nucleus of a Citizens Committee for the express purpose of trying <br />to`locate an area suitable for light industry, either by surveying what we have, or <br />bp_annexing adjacent`land to the;south and west. He asked that the committee meet <br />"ith him as`soon as possible, so that a workable committsa can be established. <br />Mrs. Von Dqyke brought up the matter of motor vehicles passing each other in school <br />areas.
