no definite action was taken, except that it was decided to go to the corner
Saturday morning to look the situation over; however, due to "All Scouts Day"`
this was postponed to another time. One of the suggestions was to move the curb
back in front of the Bushnell Build3ng, from the wasterly end of the crosswalk
the tull length of the Bushnell Buildirg, giving traffic on Lorain Road turning
into Butternut Ridge, a<much clearer view. Some inprovement in front of the
Hardware Store is also suggiested, pcssibly widening the road en`the other s3.de of
Butternut, so as to perrnit cars to dr3ve up two abreast, allowing traffic to move
faster. It was also nenticned that quite an area was available in the rear of the
Bushnell Building, where a goodly n=ber of cars could be parket. The problem of
traff3.c coming out of Kennedy ftidge into Columbia Road being controlled by the
light at Columbia and Mastick will be taken up with the Automob3le Club to see what
can be worlted out. .
Mr. Knapp reco7mnended that a Vralk light be added to the Traffic light at Colurabia
and Lorain Roads, to be used during the r.aurs that school is in session. The
"latter was referred to the Safety Coaunitteeo ,
