<br />A motion was ma,de by Mr. Kramer'and secorxled by Mr. Decker that the`minutes of
<br />` July 17, 1956 be appraved as carrected. `"Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, Kramer, •
<br />? Neubauer, Schwenk.
<br />The Safety-Service Director. stated that Rock3r River had requested a thres'year
<br />contract for teletype service. Our Ordinance passed March 20,: 1956 was for one
<br />, year. The matter was referred to the Solicitor.
<br />The Saf ety Service Director appointed the following as firanen, Frank Tinics,
<br />' Charles ti'lershing, Theodore Passig, effective August 16, 19560
<br />AMotion was ma,de by Mr. Neubauer and seconded by Mr. Kramer that the above appoint-

<br />salaries, negotiating with Fairv3.ew on a fare increase and Clevelarxl Transit Systan's
<br />request to run their Warren Road bus through Fairview to the Westgate Shopping Center.

<br />Ilx• Kitson reported that Mr. Varady had sold the construction building on Georgette
<br />Avernzej, and tha,t it wau].d be moved in two weeks. '
<br />Mr• $ob Stewart of Georgette Avenue complained about the large holes and stagnant .
<br />water where llr. Varady had removed top soil. The matter was referred to the Safety-
<br />Service Director. ,
<br />The Safety-Service Director appointed Stephan Sidorak as Custodian of Public

<br />Buildingg.

<br />eation of Brookparlc Extension. '

<br />r She would receave'`aany particular benefit. Ptr. Kitson recommended that Council appro-
<br />priate Aaz't of the Upp property for the dedication of Brookpark Extension.
<br />aesolution #2342 was introduced*by Mr. Kramer. A Resolution declaring intent to
<br />ppronriate property for street purposes. It was moved arri seconded that the statutory
<br />rule be suspended and the Resolution be read irnediately the secorxi and third'times and
<br />put on its passage. The affirmative vote cn said motion was as follows: Baker, Crider,
<br />DeOkQra Kramer, Ma,cDonald, Neubaazer, Schwenk. Theraxpon the'Resolution was read,the
<br />3e0pnd and third times and put upon its passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as
<br />f pllows: Ba.ke r, Crider, Decker, Kr2ner, MacDonald, Neubauerp Schwenk.
<br />Mr' Kitson stated that he wauld have the Ordinance ready for the next meeting in
<br />e0rmection with the dedication of Brookpark Road.
<br />Toe lqaYor stated that a meeting was held odth Mr. English and his attorney, the
<br />?o ractor and Mr. Cloyd, our Engineer, regarding Westchester Drive pavensnt. The
<br />abntractor, Ajax petroleum Products Co. agreed to start work on the new pavement
<br />out 'the m3,ddl,e of noxt week, weather pezmitting. "The residents are to stay` off '
