<br />' Present were Dr. C. B. Lewisp Mayor, E. W. Baumgardner, President of Council,
<br />L. H. Baker., Harry M. Crider.. R. L. Decker, Bruce W. MacDonalds G. H. Schwenk,
<br />Absent were Mr. Kramer and Mr. Neubau9r.
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Schwenk and seconded by Mr. Decker that the minutea of
<br />kap 1, 1956 be`approved aa read. "Yea$" Baker, Crider, Decker, MacDonald,
<br />. Schwenk. _
<br />A naotion was made by Mr. 3aker and seconded by Mr. Crider that the minutes of
<br />May 3, 1956 be approved as amended. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Deckerj, MacDonald,
<br />Sehwenk,
<br />A motion was made by Mr. Baker arxl secorYied by Mr. Crider that the minutes of
<br />47 7, 1956 be approved as anended. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, MacDonald,

<br />The safety-Service Director stated that bida were received for tha leasing of an
<br />autaaobil,e for use by the Police Departments that thsy had been turned ovar to
<br />the SaPety Cmrm3,ttee for studys arni they had reported bacl; tavorably. The Baqrd
<br />oi Con,trol recommended that the bid of H& M Auto Rental, be accepted at a bass
<br />pI'ice of $160.00 per month.
<br />Reaolution #2296 wag introduced bp;Mr, Decker. A Resolution authorizing the
<br />Sat'ety Director to enter 3nto a centract for the leasing of a motar vehicle t'or
<br />j u$8 by the Police Department. It waa moved and secaaided that the above Resolu-
<br />tiori be adopted as read. "Yeas" Baker, Crider, Decker, MacDonald, Schwenht.
<br />? Mr. Lerop Harris presented the plat of the LeBerti Subdivision for dedication. i.
<br />Tho matter was referred to the Planning Gomm3.ssion.

<br />There being no ob3ectiona, Ordinance #2282 was given it8 third and final reading,
<br />and on the adoption the t'oUorring vated "yea" Crider.. Deckero MacDonald, Schrrenk,
<br />Thfj Mayor declared Saturday, Jnne 2, 1956, as "ALI, SCOtTTS DAY" in North Olmated.

<br />Resolution #2297 was introduced by Mr. Scliwenk,--A Reaolution apprcving the elforts
<br />°t Ncrth Olmsted Public Library Board in obtaining a neW North Olmsted public
<br />libftry. It was moved and seconded that the above Resolution be adopted'as Z.eads- "Yeas" Crider, Decker, rgacDonalds, Schwenk.
<br />The Mayor read a caanunicatioa from Conarassman J. Harry McGregor regarding H. R,
<br />7634? in which he stated this bill passed the House last August and ia naw pending
<br />` in the Senate Finance Cammittee.
<br />T? Mayor read a ca¢ttmunication t'rom S, 0, Linzelli State Highway Director in
<br />W ch he stated that our letter of May lst had been reierred to Mr. Arthur Endres,
<br />.
<br />DiQicion Engineer, in Cleveland, in regard to ths situation existing on ;orain
