Council Minutes of 10-01-2013 Ordinance 2013-84 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Section 351.20 of the Traffic Code of the City of North Olmsted `or entitled "Handicapped Parking" in order to establish jurisdiction in the North Olmsted Mayor's Court for the prosecution of handicapped parking ticket violations, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2013-85 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Human Resources to request proposals from personal services to obtain comprehensive municipal liability, automotive liability and physical damage, public officials errors and omissions, police professional liability, property, inland marine, boiler and machinery, broad form crime, EDP, umbrella, liquor liability and other various insurance coverage required by the City of North Olmsted, as a package, and, following selection by the Board of Control, authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said insurance package, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to request proposals ("RFPs") from qualified firms to provide professional planning services for the 2015 Master Plan update and further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a personal services contract with the firm selected in the RFP process. Resolution 2013-87 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution directing the Fiscal Officer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 2014, all money due and owing said city from any collection source. Ordinance 2013-88 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance approving an amended and restated sewer service agreement with the County of Cuyahoga; and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2013-89 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2013, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Barker scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday October 8, 2013, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss 2013-87, 2013-89 and digital storage of Council documents. The Mayor, Finance Director and Human Resources Director are asked to attend. The Finance Director, Network Administrator and Clerk of Council are asked to *gip, attend. 6
