CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2014 — 56 BY: Mayor Kennedy AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE- ESTABLISHING CHAPTER 131.99 OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, ENTITLED "COMPOSITION AND ORGANIZATION OF THE OFFICE OF MAYOR" IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR THE REORGANIZATION OF THE DIVISION OF PARKS AND RECREATION. WHEREAS, this Council via Ordinances 2010 -62 and 2012 -47 established and amended the organization of the Division of Parks and Recreation, including Organizational Charts, for the purpose of, among other things, re- organizing and / or re- stating the employee complement within the Division of Parks and Recreation; and WHEREAS, Mayor Kennedy, with the advice of Commissioner Drenski, desires to create two (2) additional supervisor positions within the Division of Parks and Recreation, and WHEREAS, a "Program Supervisor" shall be responsible for, among other things: (1) all outdoor and off campus activities including scheduling, programming and staffing; (2) overseeing softball, football, basketball and summer camp; and (3) all facility / park rental and maintenance; and WHEREAS, a "Facility Supervisor" shall manage and train Recreation Personnel in matters concerning, among others, child care, building maintenance, front desk and facility rentals; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to implement the organizational changes recommended by the Mayor and Commissioner Drenski as set forth herein. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Chapter 131.99 "Composition and Organization of the Office of Mayor" which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit A, which is attached to this Ordinance and incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten herein, shall be amended at section 131.99(b) and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit B, which is likewise attached to this Ordinance and likewise incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten herein. SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. Conflicting or inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re- codification.
