CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014 – 70 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZING THE MA YOR TO ENTER INTO A <br />CONTRACT WITH DIANE TOMER FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENGAGING <br />HER TO SELL ADVERTISING SPACE AT THE NORTH OLMSTED <br />RECREATION CENTER. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Mayor to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted with Diane Tomer for the purpose of selling advertising space at the North <br />Olmsted Recreation Center; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Tomer shall be compensated on a percentage of total revenue generated <br />from the sale of advertising at the Recreation Center; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into said <br />contract in order to obtain said services for the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with <br />Diane Tomer for the purpose of obtaining her services to sell advertising space at the North <br />Olmsted Recreation Center. Said contract shall be substantially in the form of the "Independent <br />Contractor Agreement," marked as Exhibit "A" and attached hereto, with only such changes <br />therein as are not substantially adverse to the City and which are approved by the Director of <br />Law.
