Council Minutes of 09 -16 -2014 Councilman Kearney stated that some union contractors did bid on the recreation center project. LEGISLATION Resolution 2014 -57 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Recreation Commissioner to request proposals ( "RFP ") for cleaning services at the Recreation Center and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said cleaning services with the vendor selected in the RFP process, subject to approval by the Board of Control. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2014 -57 adopted 7 -0. Resolution 2014 -59 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Fiscal Officer. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was heard last week in committee and there is a timing issue. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for copy machines for use by the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, after approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract to lease such business equipment and products. Resolution 2014 -62 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Human Resources to request proposals ( "RFP ") for website design services and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said professional services with the vendor selected in the RFP process, subject to approval by the Board of Control. Ordinance 2014 -65 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2014, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2014 -66 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with American Healthways Services, LLC, to provide marketing services related to Recreation Center fitness programs for the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2014 -67 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Schumann. An Ordinance amending Sections 1363.302.13 of Chapter 1363 of the Real 5
