MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />DECEMBER 9, 2014 <br />Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Brossard, Hemann, <br />Kearney, Limpert and Schumann <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Clerk of Council Gallo and <br />Director of Safety /Service Glauner <br />Absent: Council Member Williamson <br />Director of Law Gareau <br />Director of Planning /Development Wenger <br />Director of Human Resources Farver <br />Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2014 -92 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $2,050,000 of Notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, <br />remodeling, rehabilitating, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving buildings and <br />facilities in the city's Recreation Center Complex and improving and equipping their site, <br />together with all necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman <br />Kearney stated he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2014 -93 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $385,000 of Notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving the <br />city's storm water drainage system by replacing a culvert in Windsor Drive, together with <br />work incidental thereto. Councilman Kearney stated he is in receipt of the Fiscal <br />Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2014 -94 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $245,000 of Notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring mowers, <br />utility vehicles, a fertilizer spreader, a top dresser, a turbine blower, a roller and other <br />equipment for use at the city's Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom facility. <br />Councilman Kearney stated he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. <br />Ordinance 2014 -95 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $385,000 of Notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, <br />remodeling, rehabilitating, equipping and otherwise improving the city's police station, <br />
