MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED DECEMBER 9, 2014 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Brossard, Hemann, Kearney, Limpert and Schumann Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Finance Copfer, Clerk of Council Gallo and Director of Safety /Service Glauner Absent: Council Member Williamson Director of Law Gareau Director of Planning /Development Wenger Director of Human Resources Farver Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. LEGISLATION Ordinance 2014 -92 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $2,050,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, remodeling, rehabilitating, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving buildings and facilities in the city's Recreation Center Complex and improving and equipping their site, together with all necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman Kearney stated he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. Ordinance 2014 -93 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $385,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving the city's storm water drainage system by replacing a culvert in Windsor Drive, together with work incidental thereto. Councilman Kearney stated he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. Ordinance 2014 -94 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $245,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring mowers, utility vehicles, a fertilizer spreader, a top dresser, a turbine blower, a roller and other equipment for use at the city's Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom facility. Councilman Kearney stated he is in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. Ordinance 2014 -95 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $385,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, remodeling, rehabilitating, equipping and otherwise improving the city's police station,
