EXHIBIT <br />Ul <br />CHAPTER 749 MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENT <br />749.01 DEFINITIONS. <br />749.02 PERMIT AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS; PROHIBITED CONDUCT; EXEMPTIONS. <br />749.03 APPLICATION FOR MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENT PERMIT; EXPIRATION AND CONTENTS. <br />749.04 DENIAL OF PERMIT. <br />749.05 SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF PERMIT. <br />749.06 APPLICATION FOR MASSEUR OR MASSEUSE LICENSE; EXPIRATION AND CONTENTS. <br />749.07 DENIAL OF MASSEUR OR MASSEUSE LICENSE. <br />749.08 REVOCATION OF LICENSE. <br />749.09 DISPLAY OF PERMIT OR LICENSE; INSPECTIONS; CLIENT IDENTIFICATION AND RECORD. <br />749.10 TRANSFER OF PERMITS OR LICENSES. <br />749.11 HEARINGS; RECORDS; APPEALS. <br />749.12 DEPOSIT OF FEES. <br />749.13 SEVERABLE. <br />749.99 PENALTY. <br />749.01 DEFINITIONS. <br />For the purpose of this chapter, the following words are defined and shall have the meaning ascribed to <br />them as hereafter set forth: <br />(a) "Massage" means any method of exerting pressure on, stroking, kneading, rubbing, tapping, <br />pounding, vibrating, or stimulating the external soft tissue of the body with the hands, or with the aid of <br />any mechanical or electrical apparatus or appliance in exchange for anything of value. <br />(b) "Massage establishment" means any fixed place of business where a person required to be <br />licensed pursuant to this Chapter offers massages: <br />(1) In exchange for anything of value; or <br />(2) In connection with the provisions of another legitimate service. <br />"Massage Establishment" does not mean a fixed location where a massage is offered by a person <br />exempted from the provisions of this Chapter under 749.02(i)(1) through (4). <br />
