CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2014— 100 <br /> BY: Mayor Kennedy <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF AND AUTHORIZING THE <br /> MAYOR TO ENTER INTO COLLECTIVE BARGAINING <br /> AGREEMENTS WITH THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE <br /> ("FOP")/OHIO LABOR COUNCIL, FOR THE POLICE <br /> OFFICERS AND CORRECTIONS OFFICERS, FOR THE <br /> PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2015 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2017, <br /> AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA,AND STATE OF OHIO: <br /> SECTION 1: That the collective bargaining agreements negotiated by and between <br /> the Administration and the Fraternal Order of Police ("FOP")/Ohio Labor Council, for the <br /> Police Officers and Corrections Officers, for the period January 1, 2015, through December <br /> 31, 2017, copies of which are on file in the office of the Director of Human Resources, are <br /> hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute the said agreements. <br /> SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br /> immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, of <br /> this City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective <br /> to implement new protocols /pay standards within the agreement commencing January 1, <br /> 2015; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of <br /> Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br /> Mayor. <br /> PASSED: 1)1 eit, I e t C( First Reading: I al it/1 aw�( <br /> Second Reading: / 11g j a'11-1 <br /> Third Reading: j‘Alpi,rdid <br /> Committee: <br /> AT7, ST: <br /> A <br /> MARIE(JALLO NICOLE DAILEY JON IS <br /> Clerk of Council President of Council <br /> APPROVED: . � l kj‘ APPROVED AS TO LEGAL FORM. <br /> /s/Michael R.
