MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED MARCH 3, 2015 Present: Council President Jones, Council Members Barker, Brossard, Hemann, Kearney, Limped and Williamson Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Safety/Service Glauner and Director of Planning/Development Wenger Absent: Council Member Schumann Director of Human Resources Farver Council President Jones called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road,North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. The Council meeting minutes of February 17, 2015 and special Council meeting minutes of February 25, 2015 were approved as written. There will be no legislation considered for passage under suspension of the rules this evening. Councilman Barker made a motion to adjourn into executive session to discuss pending litigation. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Council adjourned into executive session at 8:02 p.m. Council reconvened at 8:33 p.m. REPORTS Mayor Kennedy: • The Springvale Fish Fry has been going very well. The first charity made $1,400 in tips. St. Brendan's made almost $1,700 in tips and a bake sale. That was the most people he has ever seen at Springvale for a Fish Fry. • Safety Town registration can be done at the public library, North Olmsted Police Dept. or on the city's website. • A helicopter used to count deer will be out this weekend to help formulate a plan for deer management in the city.
