JOHN PATRICK
PICARD
ARCHITECT INC.
720 MCKINLEY AVENUE N.W.,CANTON,OHIO 44703
PHONE: (330)471-9000•FAX: (330)471-9549
June 29,2015
Kimberly Wenger,AICP
Director of Planning and Development
The City of North Olmsted
5200 Dover Center Road
North Olmsted, Ohio 44070
Reference: North Olmsted Recreation Center Master Planning Study
Dear Ms.Wenger,
In order to provide you a service that offers a truly usable product for the master plan of the
North Olmsted Recreation Center,I have broken the proposal down into three phases. Each
phase requires the involvement of not only our firm, but the involvement of yourself, the
Administration, and the staff of the recreation center,
Phase I is the information gathering and documentation portion of the study. In this phase our
firm will review all the existing drawings and documentation, field measure the existing facility
and site, develop existing conditions drawings based on our field measurements and research,
and perform an in depth walk thru of the facility evaluating its current condition including the
mechanical and electrical systems. Finally we will meet with you to report our findings and to
review the future vision of the facility as seen by yourself, the City, and the Recreation Center
Administration and staff At the end of this phase you will be provided with accurate existing
conditions floor plans, exterior elevations, and an overall site plan.
Phase I----- $ 8,505.00
Phase II looks at the future vision on a broad scale and shows a path to get from where you are
today to where you see the recreation center being in the future. We will again utilize the overall
site plan, existing floor plan, and elevations in order to provide a scope of work for each area and
assign a budget amount to the items/areas identified. We will also provide our recommendation
of an order of phasing for these items. This will include building upgrades/renovations as well as
mechanical and electrical system upgrades.
Phase II -------- ------- ----------- $ 26,955.00
