CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2015—55 <br /> BY: Mayor Kennedy <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO PAY TO JEFF <br /> MARSHALL, INC. THE SUM OF $8,621.74 AS REIMBURSEMENT <br /> FOR THE EXPENDITURES MADE AT THE 2015 BICENTENNIAL <br /> SALUTE ICE SHOW,AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> WHEREAS, historically the City of North Olmsted has participated financially in <br /> the presentation of the Ice Skating show generally held on Memorial Day weekend; and <br /> WHEREAS, in the past, Purchase Orders were secured for the financial <br /> obligations associated with the Ice Show; and <br /> WHEREAS, because a purchase order was not secured this year for the <br /> acquisition of costumes and further because the expense is greater than $5,000.00, North <br /> Olmsted Codified Ordinances mandate that this matter be submitted to Council for its <br /> approval. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA,AND STATE OF OHIO: <br /> SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to make payment to <br /> Jeff Marshall, Inc. in the amount of $8,621.74 as reimbursement for the acquisition of <br /> costumes utilized in the 2015 Bicentennial Salute Ice Show. <br /> SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br /> measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br /> welfare, and further for the reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect <br /> immediately in order, for purposes of equity, to reimburse Mr. Marshall for the expenses <br /> that, although assigned to the City of North Olmsted, were actually paid for by him; and <br /> further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br /> it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br /> Mayor. <br /> PASSED: Ari.f (t 1 c First Reading: ( ( 9t%Second Reading: ( <br /> Third Reading: (sas lil <br /> Committee: Grui <br />
