Council Minutes of 08-04-2015 provide authority to the city Landmarks Commission to establish programs for the recognition and promotion of historically significant community resources. Ordinance 2015-59 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance repealing Chapter 713 of the Business Regulation Code entitled "Licensing of Rental Units" and creating a new Chapter 1319 of the Building Code entitled "Licensing of Rental Units." Ordinance 2015-60 was introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2015, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance 2015-61 was introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending Building Code Chapter 1345 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled, "Swimming Pools" in order to incorporate state code amendments. Ordinance 2015-62 was introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Sections 1301 and 1305 and repealing Sections 1303, 1307 and 1309 of Chapter Thirteen of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Building Code" and further in order to restate applicable Codes and eliminate unnecessary provisions for commercial and residential construction. Ordinance 2015-63 was introduced by Council President Jones on behalf of herself and Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance adopting a new Chapter 1364 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled"Interior Maintenance Code MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilwoman Hemann scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting for Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2015-58. The Planning/Development Director is asked to attend. Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 7:05 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2015-52, Resolution 2015-53 and Ordinance 2015-60. The Finance Director and Human Resources Director are asked to attend.
