Council Minutes of 10-06-2015 <br /> Ordinance 2015-83 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br /> Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br /> principal amount of$2,050,000 to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, remodeling, <br /> rehabilitating, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving buildings and facilities in <br /> the city's Recreation Center Complex and improving and equipping their site, together <br /> with all necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto; authorizing and directing <br /> the prepayment of an outstanding Note issued in anticipation of the Bonds; authorizing <br /> the execution and delivery of a Bond Registrar Agreement, a Continuing Disclosure <br /> Agreement and a Bond Purchase Agreement, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br /> Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this was discussed <br /> in Finance Committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed <br /> unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2015-83 adopted 7-0. <br /> Ordinance 2015-84 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br /> Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br /> principal amount of $1,390,000 to provide funds to pay costs of improving the city's <br /> storm water drainage system by replacing a culvert in Windsor Drive, and constructing, <br /> reconstructing and otherwise improving storm water detention basins, infiltration <br /> trenches, swales, storm sewer lines and other related improvements, in each case together <br /> with work incidental thereto; authorizing and directing the prepayment of outstanding <br /> Notes issued in anticipation of the Bonds; authorizing the execution and delivery of a <br /> Bond Registrar Agreement, a Continuing Disclosure Agreement and a Bond Purchase <br /> Agreement, and declaring an emergency. An <br /> Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of Bonds in a maximum aggregate <br /> principal amount of$245,000 to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring mowers, utility <br /> vehicles, a fertilizer spreader, a top dresser, a turbine blower, a roller and other equipment <br /> for use at the city's Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom facility; authorizing and <br /> directing the prepayment of an outstanding Note issued in anticipation of the Bonds; <br /> authorizing the execution and delivery of a Bond Registrar Agreement, a Continuing <br /> Disclosure Agreement and a Bond Purchase Agreement, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings as this <br /> was discussed in Finance Committee.
