Council Minutes of 10-06-2015 <br /> Olmsted to remove or amend specific overhead school and turning lane restrictions on <br /> Butternut Ridge Road at or near its intersection with Dover Center Road in the City of <br /> North Olmsted. Councilman Schumann made a motion to suspend the rules requiring <br /> three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Schumnan moved for adoption. The <br /> motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. <br /> Ordinance 2015-89 adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2015-90 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract to purchase demolition and <br /> refurbishing services from Johnson-Laux (Gordian Group) for Building No. 15 (aka <br /> Zimpro Area) at a cost of$50,804.58, all through the State Purchase Program; and further <br /> authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, <br /> and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert made a motion to suspend the rules <br /> requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by <br /> Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved for <br /> adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed <br /> unanimously. Resolution 2015-90 adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2015-91 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award <br /> of a contract to provide construction services for the repair and replacement of roofing <br /> systems of Wastewater Treatment Plant Building No. 12, as detailed in the specifications <br /> on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to <br /> contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Councilman Limpert made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and <br /> formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and <br /> passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was <br /> seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed unanimously. Resolution 2015-81 <br /> adopted 7-0. <br /> Resolution 2015-92 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br /> a contract with Richard L. Bowen & Associates, Inc. to provide engineering consulting <br /> services to the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2015-93 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br /> Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract modification with Aladtec, Inc. <br /> to provide hardware, software, maintenance and training for a workforce management <br /> system consisting of an employee time, attendance and scheduling program, and <br /> declaring an emergency. <br /> Resolution 2015-94 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy on <br /> behalf of himself and Councilman Barker. A Resolution authorizing and directing the <br /> Director of Law to commence eminent domain proceedings against the City of North <br /> Olmsted Board of Education for the acquisition of real property located at Pine School <br /> for the construction of a storm water retention basin, and declaring an emergency. <br /> Councilman Barker made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and <br /> 9 <br />
