EXHIBIT II <br />METHOD OF PAYMENT <br />2.1 For basic services under Section 1. Basic Services of the ARCHITECT as <br />described in Exhibit I, CITY shall pay ARCHITECT as follows consistent with the <br />ARCHITECT's PROPOSAL attached hereto as Exhibit IV and made a part hereof. <br />(a) The CITY shall make total payments to the ARCHITECT for SERVICES and <br />reimbursable expenses in a total amount not to exceed two hundred seventy <br />nine thousand one hundred eighty dollars ($279,180.00). <br />(b) The ARCHITECT shall submit one invoice per month to the CITY for the <br />Section 1. Basic Services performed by the ARCHITECT which will be based <br />upon progress payments by phase. <br />(c) The CITY shall review the invoice submitted by the ARCHITECT within ten <br />(10) calendar days of the CITY'S receipt of the invoice submitted by the <br />ARCHITECT. <br />(d) The CITY shall notify the ARCHITECT within fifteen (15) calendar days of <br />the CITY'S receipt of the invoice of any amount(s) contained in the monthly <br />invoice that will not be paid by the CITY due to: (1) inadequate <br />documentation for the amount(s) requested; (2) the amount(s) requested being <br />outside the scope of services in Section 1. Basic Services of the <br />ARCHITECT; and (3) the amount(s) requested exceed the maximum cost of <br />the ARCHITECT's services approved by the CITY. <br />2.2 The above referenced fees are for all Basic Services required by this Agreement to <br />be performed by ARCHITECT, including, but not limited to, architectural, landscape architectural, <br />site civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering. The above referenced fees <br />for Basic Services do not include government permit application fees, surveys, test borings, and the <br />cost of printing and distributing bid documents at the time of contractor bidding. <br />2.3 For optional services under Section 2. Optional Services of the ARCHITECT, <br />CITY shall pay the ARCHITECT upon receipt of an approved scope and work task breakdown and <br />upon written authorization to proceed with the optional services. <br />
