Council Minutes of 04-05-2016 Ordinance 2016-42 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance making appropriation and authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to demolish an existing structure and construct a new metal prefabricated building on the site of the former primary tank Number One Building at the Waste Water Treatment Plant, as detailed in the specifications on file with the Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution 2016-43 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution in support of a statement of cooperation for the Aerozone Alliance. Resolution 2016-44 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman Hemann. A Resolution recognizing and proclaiming "Earth Day" by hosting the first "Earth Fair" celebration at the Community Cabin on April 24, 2016, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution 2016-45 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Russ Bassett Company to purchase consoles and special equipment designed for the North Olmsted Police and Fire Central Dispatch Center; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Schumann scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss 2016-36, 2016-37 and BJ's Restaurant Proposal. The Planning& Development Director is asked to attend. Councilman Kearney scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 7:20 p.m. to discuss 2016-41, 2016-42 and 2016-45. The Mayor and Safety & Service Director are asked to attend. Councilman Brossard scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee meeting for Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 7:35 p.m. to discuss 2016-40. The Safety & Service Director is asked to attend. Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting for Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 7:40 p.m. to discuss 2016-39. The Planning & Development Director is asked to attend. Councilman Limpert scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 7:45 p.m. to discuss 2016-38. The Safety & Service Director is asked to attend. 12
