CUYAHOGA
COUNTY
...............................
......................................................
....
BOARD
...................................................--.....
OF
HEALTH
YOUR TRUSTED SOURCE FOR PUBLIC HEALTH INFORMATION
April 28, 2016
City of North Olmsted
Attn: Pete DiFranco
5200 Dover Center Road
North Olmsted, OH 44070
RECEIVED
MAY 5 2016
RE: 2016 Phase 11 Stormwater Memorandum of Understanding — City of North Olmsted
Dear Mr. DiFranco:
The Cuyahoga County Board of Health maintains a Stormwater program that incorporates
inspections, sampling, education, and employee training, while continually identifying ways to deliver
information and services that will assist you and your community. We pride ourselves on running an
efficient and effective program that assists communities in meeting their Ohio EPA Phase 11
Stormwater Program requirements.
We routinely conduct cost methodology analyses in our public health programs to identify the actual
costs associated with maintaining these programs. After completing this analysis for our Stormwater
Program, we have identified that a modest increase in fees associated with this program is necessary
to cover program costs. CCBH works hard to provide quality public health programming, while
attempting to keep costs as low as possible for our operators and communities. We have maintained
our costs in the Stormwater Program at a stable level without any cost increases over the last four (4)
years.
Provided with this letter is the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the 2016 Phase II
Stormwater services for your community. If you have any questions or concerns about our program
or to discuss the details related to our need to increase program fees, please feel free to contact
Laura Travers, Stormwater Program Manager, at (216) 201-2000 ext. 1225 or ItraversC&-ccbh.net. We
look forward to maintaining our successful partnership with your community in this and all of our
public health programs.
Sincerely,
Rick Novickis, R.S., M.P.H
Director
Environmental Public Health Services
5550 Venture Drive ♦ Parma, Ohio 44130
Direct: 216-201-2000 ♦ Fax: 216-676-1311 ♦ TTY: 216.676.1313 ♦ www.ccbh.net
Terrence M.
