H. When inclement weather is expected, install a water cut-off at the end of the day's operation. <br />Mop three plies of base sheets and one ply of membrane. Install cut-off at all exposed edges of <br />roofing and at roof penetrations. Remove water cut-off upon resumption of work. <br />3.05 TRAFFIC SURFACING <br />A. Using maximum 10' lengths of the cap sheet membrane solidly mop one ply of smooth <br />membrane and one surfaced membrane to the surface of the applied roof. Allow 6"-12" <br />openings between adjacent sheets for drainage. <br />3.06 FLASHING <br />A. Install flashing according to Manufacturer's specifications. <br />B. Install one pressure relief vent per 1,000 square feet, or part thereof, of roof surface. <br />C. Seal flashing and flanges on all items setting on or protruding through the membrane. Seal <br />flanges between two plies of membrane. <br />3.07 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL <br />A. Correct defects and irregularities reported. <br />3.08 CLEANING <br />A. Remove bituminous markings from finished surfaces. In areas where finished surfaces are <br />soiled by asphalt or any other source of soiling caused by work of this section, consult <br />manufacturer of surfaces for cleaning advice and conform to those instructions. <br />- END OF SECTION <br />The following sections are provided in reference to the BUILT-UP <br />BITUMINOUS ROOFING application and specifications, the following <br />sections are variable based on the specific application site. <br />SECTION 06100 <br />ROUGH CARPENTRY <br />PART 1 -- GENERAL <br />1.01 THE REQUIREMENT <br />A. AWPA-CA Preservative Standards, Lumber and Plywood. <br />2. AWPA-C20 Structural Lumber Fire -Retardant Treatment by Pressure Process. <br />3. AWPC-C27 Plywood Fire -Retardant Treatment by Pressure Process. <br />4. AWPA-M4 Standards for Care of Preservative Treated Wood Products. <br />5. APA Guide to Plywood Grades. <br />
