CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016 — 85 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A <br />CONTRACT WITH THE ALL TRAFFIC SOLUTIONS / INTUITIVE <br />CONTROL SYSTEMS LLC, TO PURCHASE TWO (2) TRAILER - <br />MOUNTED, SPEED WARNING DISPLAY UNITS FOR THE NORTH <br />OLMSTED DIVISION OF POLICE, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO <br />EFFECTUATE SUCH PURCHASE. <br />WHEREAS, the North Olmsted Police Department has solicited quotes from All Traffic <br />Solutions, a Division of Intuitive Control Systems, LLC., for the purchase of two (2) portable <br />speed warning displays; and <br />WHEREAS, the Division of Police has been using such portable speed warning devices <br />for over fifteen (15) years and has found it to be a useful education tool; and <br />WHEREAS, the current speed warning device no longer receives software support and is <br />in need of replacement; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Public Safety that the City of <br />North Olmsted accept the quotation from All Traffic Solutions, a Division of Intuitive Control <br />Systems, LLC., and enter into a Purchase Agreement at a cost estimated at $11,150.00, as <br />established and authorized by R. C. 9.48 and the Federal Supply Services price approved by the <br />General Services Administration (GSA); and <br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter <br />into a Purchase Agreement with All Traffic Solutions, a Division of Intuitive Control Systems, <br />LLC. for the purchase of two (2) portable speed warning displays at a cost estimated at <br />$11,150.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to purchase through the <br />Federal Supply Services price list approved by the GSA, all as authorized via R.C. 9.48(B) (3), <br />two (2) portable speed warning displays at a cost estimated at $11,150.00, all of which is <br />described in the attached Quotation marked as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference. <br />The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any contract and/or other necessary documents <br />required by the authorized vendor(s), the State of Ohio or the GSA. Any contract executed by <br />the Mayor shall be in a form and substance consistent with the provisions of this Resolution and <br />be approved by the Director of Law. <br />
