CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2016 — 87 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PLANNING <br />AND DEVELOPMENT TO SOLICIT PROPOSALS FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE RESIDENTIAL STREET <br />FILE SCANNING PROJECT AND, SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF <br />THE BOARD OF CONTROL, TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO <br />ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SUCH SERVICES. <br />WHEREAS, the Division of Building maintains all permitting records for <br />residential homes in the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Administration has proposed to merge Division of Engineering <br />street files and Division of Building permit files into a single, address -based digital file; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the combined documents will be scanned and the digital file will be <br />searchable by staff and the public; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Planning <br />and Development to solicit proposals for professional services for the residential street <br />file scanning project and to further authorize the Mayor, upon approval of the Board of <br />Control, to enter into an agreement for such services. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Planning and Development be and she is <br />hereby authorized to solicit or request proposals for the residential street file scanning <br />project, in accordance with the specifications now on file in her office and that, upon <br />approval by the Board of Control, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an <br />agreement for such services with the most qualified persons / firm to provide the services <br />at a price that is fair and reasonable to the City. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after <br />the earliest date provided for by law. <br />PASSED: 6ft1_12,(X dZl <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading: �t7 <br />Third Reading: -16 <br />Committee: & 0 a ce <br />
