EXHIBIT A: EXISTING CHAPTER 927 <br />65 <br />CHAPTER 927 <br />927.01 PURPOSE. <br />It is the purpose of this Chapter to establish standards to achieve a level of storm water <br />management and conservation practices which will control wind or water erosion of the soil and <br />minimize the degradation of the waters of the City of North Olmsted and the State of Ohio by <br />soil sediment in conjunction with land grading, excavating, filling, or other soil disturbing <br />activities of land used or being developed for non-farm commercial, industrial, residential, or <br />other non-farm purposes, and to establish criteria for determination of the acceptability of such <br />management and conservation practices. <br />(Ord. 2012-76. Passed 10-23-12.) <br />927.02 SCOPE. <br />(a) This Chapter applies to storm water management and the control of sediment <br />pollution from accelerated water erosion of the following areas: <br />(1) Land use or being developed for commercial, industrial or residential <br />purposes. <br />(2) Land used or being developed for streets, roads, highways, railroads, <br />airports, other transportation facilities and utilities, and associated areas. <br />(3) Land used or being developed for private recreation, wildlife, or natural <br />Pu <br />rposes.
