CCBH 2016 SEMI-ANNUAL REPORT City of North Olmsted Page 16 <br />Program.lnquiri.es.and Res,paris,es.(in hours)*.......................1 <br />Inspections, Reinspections and.Complaints ........................1 <br />BODY ART (TATTOO/BODY PIERCING FACILITIES) <br />CCBH conducts this program in an effort to help protect the public while they visit <br />these types of facilities and choose to receive some form of body art or piercing. The <br />program incorporates the laws and rules established under Ohio Revised Code and <br />Ohio Administrative Code, which require that all operations that provide tattoo and/or <br />body piercing services to be inspected and approved by local Boards of Health. <br />Tattooing and body piercing procedures present the potential for localized bacterial <br />infection and exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
