A preliminary analysis found a
delamination of the surface and the brick. In other words, the brick and masonry
surface was dropping off of the building and on to the ground. There has been
orange fencing around the outside of this 18 story building to keep people away.
Given the enormity of the repair project, the City has continued to monitor the
situation and awaited promised repair efforts. Those efforts were found lacking.
