CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016 - 141 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO <br />AN AGREEMENT WITH FIREHOUSE INNOVATIONS CORP. FOR <br />THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) MULTI -FORCE, FORCIBLE ENTRY <br />DOOR SYSTEM TO BE USED FOR TRAINING. <br />WHEREAS, the Division of Fire is in need of additional tools to assist in the <br />training of its members; and <br />WHEREAS, a training door will assist in training North Olmsted Fire Department <br />members in the task of executing forcible entry; and <br />WHEREAS, the cost of such training door is $7,068.11; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into an <br />agreement with Firehouse Innovations, Corp. for the purchase of a forcible entry training <br />door. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into an <br />agreement with Firehouse Innovations Corp. for the purchase of a forcible entry training <br />door, in the form of the Agreement attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A, with only <br />such changes to be hereinafter made as are not substantially adverse to the City and which <br />are approved by the Director of Law. The character of any such changes as not being <br />substantially adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by the execution of the <br />Agreement by the Mayor and the approval of the Agreement by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after <br />the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: 6 FirstReading: <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: <br />
