<br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND FIXING THE
<br />COMPENSATION FOR THE ELECTED OFFICIALS OF THE CITY
<br />OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE TERM OF OFFICE
<br />COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2018 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31,
<br />2021.
<br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, at Article IV, Section 6,
<br />requires the Council to fix the compensation for all elected officials at least thirty (30)
<br />days prior to the filing date of nominating petitions for terms beginning on the next
<br />succeeding 1" day of January; and
<br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the compensation for all
<br />elected officials in compliance with the Charter's requirements.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OFNORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO:
<br />SECTION 1: That the salary to be paid to the Mayor for the term commencing
<br />January 1, 2018 and ending December 31, 2021, shall be as follows:
<br />Effective January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018 - $104,917.20
<br />Effective January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019 - $107,015.54
<br />Effective January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 - $109,156.85
<br />Effective January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021 - $111,338.10
<br />SECTION 2: That the salary to be paid to the Director of Finance for the term
<br />commencing January 1, 2018 and ending December 31, 2021, shall be as follows:
<br />Effective January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018 - $102,625.26
<br />Effective January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019 - $104,678.77
<br />Effective January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 - $106,771.32
<br />Effective January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021 - $108,906.75
<br />SECTION 3: That the salary to be paid to the Director of Law for the term
<br />commencing January 1, 2018 and ending December 31, 2021, shall be as follows:
<br />Effective January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018 - $64,931.22
<br />Effective January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019 - $66,230.84
<br />Effective January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 - $67,554.44
