the State of Ohio to health and human service programs in North Olmsted; and <br />SECTION 2: That this Council and the Administration of the City of North Olmsted <br />strongly urge our elected Federal and State legislators to unequivocally reject and oppose President <br />Trump's budget proposal and instead support federal and state budgeting which maintains funding <br />for vital local services; and <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby directed to send a certified copy <br />of this Resolution to the Ohio Congressional Delegation; Cuyahoga County Executive; and <br />Cuyahoga County Council. <br />SECTION 4: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further <br />reasons that it is both imperative to convey in timely fashion to our elected Federal and State officials <br />the City's united and unequivocal opposition to the drastic and devastating cuts to local funding as <br />proposed by President Trump's budget and, additionally, to express our desire to preserve the local <br />funding for vital health and human services in the current manner, this Resolution shall be in full <br />force and effect immediately upon its passage by this Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: � ?-V 1 �% First Reading: 4 4—/ <br />Second Reading: /- 2o <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: Ti.+�,-6{,�C�r►A� <br />AT?RES <br />HC <br />MSSAROLO IAI <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: C --2a-17 <br />w <br />OR KEVIN M.
