2017 Scholarship Winners — Information <br />Catherine Chalkwater — is a senior at NOHS and will be attending the University <br />of Toledo in the fall. She plans on studying nursing or special education. She <br />participated in girl scouts for 10 years and completed her sliver award. She played <br />volleyball all throughout her high school career and she participates in the SITES <br />program at the high school. <br />Dynis Frigic — is a senior at NOHS and will be attending Cuyahoga Community <br />College, where he will study Construction Engineering Technology. His favorite <br />class is SITES which has allowed him to work with local special needs students <br />and those currently in the judicial system at Rocky River Municipal Court. He <br />played basketball and football at NOHS, but his true passion is baseball, which he <br />will continue to play at Tri -C beginning in the fall. Dynis also works part-time at <br />Corso's to help with college costs. <br />Alyssa Hanna — is a senior at NOHS and will be attending Cleveland State <br />University to pursue a degree in teaching. Alyssa has been on the Honor Roll <br />numerous times during her 4 years at North Olmsted High School. She currently <br />works as a hostess at Chili's and has volunteered at the North Olmsted food pantry <br />and at Emerald Village. <br />Greg Helderman — is a senior at NOHS and has spent the last 10 plus years <br />playing baseball and football. He plans to work full time this summer before <br />furthering his education at Ohio University pursuing a degree in Exercise <br />Physiology. <br />Sean Hickey — is a senior at Holy Name and will be attending Franciscan <br />University of Steubenville where he will play basketball and major in accounting <br />or business. He played four years of varsity basketball at Holy Name, was <br />Academic All -Ohio and has a 4.0 cumulative GPA. He is a member of the Pro -Life <br />Club and the St. Joseph of Arimathea Pall -bearing Society. <br />
