WHEREAS: Catherine Pickett has gone above and beyond in every aspect of <br />Scouting; and <br />WHEREAS: Assistant Cub Master of Pack 630 since 2012, she was available to <br />help whenever needed. Weekly Den meetings, Blue and Gold <br />dinners and Pack 630's annual Family Campout. She encouraged <br />the cub scouts to earn their required patches and continue to <br />advance to crossover to become a scout; and <br />WHEREAS: As a Committee member of Troop 630, she led various committees <br />for fundraisers. She was a Troop Secretary, responsible for <br />organizing equipment and led committees for Courts of Honor. <br />Cathy is always asked to be on Boards of Review for scout <br />advancement because of her knowledge of scouting; and <br />WHEREAS: Cathy and her family have been and continue to take part in all <br />aspects of scouting, the troop, pack, other troops, religious <br />activities and community; and <br />WHEREAS: Cathy has involved herself in school projects such as After Prom <br />Committee and also helps and works with senior citizens in sign <br />language at St. Brendan Parish. She is definitely an asset to <br />scouting and to all who know her. <br />NOW, THEREFORE I, Kevin M. Kennedy, Mayor of the City of North Olmsted, on <br />behalf of our community, do hereby recognize with honor Catherine Pickett and <br />commend her on her outstanding achievements and dedicated service to the Scouts and to <br />our community.
