CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2017 - 46 By: Mayor Kennedy AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1135 "ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICTS" OF CHAPTER ELEVEN OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TITLED "PLANNING AND ZONING CODE, " FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPLEMENTING ZONING CODE CHANGES PROPOSED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED PLANNING AND DESIGN COMMISSION, AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, the Planning and Design Commission initiated a Planning and Zoning Code Review of Chapter 1135; and WHEREAS, the Commission has recommended changes to regulations associated with accessory uses and structures, among other things; and WHEREAS, after careful consideration, the Planning and Design Commission of the City, on the 24th day of May, 2017, by formal motion, recommended new and revised planning and zoning code Chapter 1135 be approved; and WHEREAS, following publication of newspaper notice in conformance with the provisions of Section 14 of Article IV of the Charte and Section 1127.03 of the Zoning Code, a public hearing was held on the �K day of us , 2017; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend Planning and Zoning Code Chapter 1135 as recommended by the Planning and Design Commission, in order to modify regulations associated with accessory uses and structures and to implement other clarifications as set forth in the Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Chapter 1135 which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in the document attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference as if fully restated, be amended, and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in the document attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference as if fully restated. SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby directed to cause notice of a Public Hearing hereon to be given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted and Section 1127.03 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code.
