CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2017 - 76 By: Mayor Kennedy AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1145 "LIMITED INDUSTRY -INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT" OF CHAPTER ELEVEN OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TITLED "PLANNING AND ZONING CODE," FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPLEMENTING ZONING CODE CHANGES PROPOSED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED PLANNING AND DESIGN COMMISSION. WHEREAS, the Planning and Design Commission initiated a Planning and Zoning Code Review of Chapter 1145 and sought input from affected property owners in the zoning district; and WHEREAS, after careful consideration, the Planning and Design Commission of the City, on the 11 day of October , 2017, by formal motion, recommended new and revised planning and zoning code Chapter 1145 be approved; and WHEREAS, following publication of newspaper notice in conformance with the provisions of Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter and Section 1127.03 of the Zoning Code, a public hearing was held on the 21 day of November , 2017; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend Planning and Zoning Code Chapter 1145 as recommended by the Planning and Design Commission and as set forth therein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Chapter 1145 which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in the document attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference as if fully restated, be amended, and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in the document attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference as if fully restated. SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby directed to cause notice of a Public Hearing hereon to be given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted and Section 1127.03 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code. SECTION 3: That, in all other respects, the North Olmsted Zoning Code, as amended and supplemented from time to time, shall remain in full force and effect.
