Council Minutes of 2-1-2018 Administration as we go forward we look at risks involved over the course of the upcoming years as we try to implement this capital improvements within our Strategic Plan. Ordinance 2018-10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $1,728,500 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving Alden Drive and certain other designated streets between certain termini in the City by reconstructing and rehabilitating the pavement base, adjusting, constructing and reconstructing catch basins, curbs and curb ramps, manholes and utility valve and monument boxes, where necessary, preparing the surface and resurfacing, in each case together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Ordinance 2018-11 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $261,500 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and installing telecommunications system equipment and network fiber, together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, for use in carrying out City services and functions. Resolution 2018-12 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, to enter into an agreement with the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC), to accept NOPEC energized community grants for 2018, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Kearney scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee meeting for Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2018-12. The Director of Safety & Service is asked to attend. Councilman Schumann scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 7:05 p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2018-10 and Ordinance 2018-11. The Director of Finance is asked to attend.
