MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is made and entered into by and between the City <br />of North Olmsted (Employer) and Ohio Council 8, Local 2681 AFSCME, AFL-CIO ("Union"). <br />The Union and Employer agree to modify and supplement the Collective Bargaining Unit <br />Agreement (CBA) dated July 1, 2018 — December 31, 2020 as follows: <br />Permit Clerk Donna Rote shall be paid the following rates of pay, notwithstanding any <br />conflicting provision contained in the past or current CBA: <br />Current: <br />July 1, 2018 <br />January 1, 2019 <br />January 1, 2020 <br />2.5% increase to <br />2.5% increase to <br />2.0% increase to <br />$20.29 / hour <br />$20.80 / hour <br />$21.32 / hour <br />$21.75 / hour <br />Any provision of the CBA not expressly modified herein shall remain in full force and effect, <br />including no interruption in Donna Rote's years of service with the City and the continuation of <br />longevity payments to Donna Rote in the amount of $82.55 on a biweekly basis. <br />This MOU shall be applicable to the permit clerk position held by Donna Rote, so long as Donna <br />Rote is in such position. The compensation set forth herein and longevity payment memorialized <br />herein shall not be determinative of compensation rates or benefits for other employees, <br />including employees who succeed Employee Donna Rote upon separation from employment. <br />Because the permit clerk position has been established in the current CBA, thereby subsuming <br />the terms of the MOU dated June 28, 2016, the MOU dated June 28, 2016 be and the same is <br />void and of no further effect as of July 1, 2018. <br />This witness whereof the parties hereto do hereby execute the agreement this day of <br />2018. <br />FOR THE AF <br />TECHNICAL <br />CLERICAL <br />v.06.14.2018 <br />FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ayor evin M.
