2018 Scholarship Winners — Information <br />Anne Bloomfield — is a senior at North Olmsted High School, graduating with a <br />4.0 cumulative GPA. Anne is a four year varsity basketball player and two year <br />varsity captain. She is a two year cross country runner and is a senior captain. She <br />is also a member of the student council. Anne will attend Cleveland State <br />University next year to major in Mechanical Engineering. <br />Sam Guercio — is a senior at North Olmsted High School. He is a 4 -year athlete <br />who has participated in Football, Basketball and Baseball. He has won several <br />awards for baseball including the Adam Russell Top Pitcher Award 2 years in a <br />row and SWC Honorable mention. Sam is a member of Saint Clarence Church and <br />works at Marc's in North Olmsted. He enjoys the customer service aspect of the <br />job by brightening peoples' day with his friendly smile. He will graduate with a <br />3.34 GPA and will attend Tri -C to study Business and Education in the fall. <br />Jacob Hoffa — is a senior at North Olmsted High School and will be attending <br />Williams Honors College at the University of Akron for nursing. Jacob has <br />participated in multiple extracurricular groups. From freshman to senior year he <br />took part in every choir program that the High School had to offer. The most <br />memorable of these programs was the North Olmsted Pop Acapella group Corning <br />Attractions, which he participated in every year, and served as Group Manager <br />during his senior year. He also participated in the school's spring musical. Jacob <br />has been involved in Model United Nations, Key Club, and SITES. He has also <br />been an Honors Student every quarter throughout his high school career, finishing <br />with a cumulative GPA of 4.1. Jacob is a member of John Knox Church and has <br />participated in 5 mission trips, both national and international. <br />Hailey Hudson — is a senior at North Olmsted High School and is currently taking <br />College Credit Plus classes at Lorain County Community College. She plans to <br />continue her education at LCCC studying nursing. Hailey volunteered at Fairview <br />Hospital her freshman and sophomore years, she was on Dance Team and <br />Kickline. She works at Emerald Village in North Olmsted. <br />Danielle Lajko — is a senior at North Olmsted High School and will be attending <br />The Ohio State University to major in Dental Hygiene. Danielle has a GPA of 4.3, <br />has been in Eaglets all four years, including captain of the dance team and flag <br />team. She is also in the SITES Service -Learning Program as well as Link Crew. <br />
