WHEREAS: Lieutenant Robert Dungan retired from the Westshore Enforcement <br />Bureau SWAT Team on June 10, 2018 after 25 years of service with the <br />Task Force. He has faithfully assisted the residents of North Olmsted, the <br />Westshore suburbs, the Greater Cleveland Area, and his colleagues; and <br />WHEREAS: Lieutenant Dungan began his career with the City of North Olmsted <br />Police Department on January 2, 1991. He was assigned to the <br />Westshore Enforcement Bureau SWAT Team in 1993; and <br />WHEREAS: He has succeeded above and beyond his duties as an Operator, Sniper, <br />Team Leader, Team Training Coordinator, Sniper Team Leader and <br />Assistant Commander of the Westshore Enforcement Bureau SWAT <br />Team, and <br />WHEREAS: Lieutenant Dungan is a member of the Ohio Tactical Officers Association <br />and has attended hundreds of training schools and seminars. He was <br />heavily relied upon to lead many SWAT situations during his 25 year <br />SWAT career. <br />Now therefore I, Kevin M Kennedy, Mayor of the City of North Olmsted, and on behalf of the <br />entire community, do hereby congratulate Lieutenant Robert Dungan on his retirement from <br />the Westshore Enforcement Bureau SWAT Team and bestow special recognition for his many <br />years of service to the City of North Olmsted and its residents, and thank him for his <br />dedication to our community and wish him the best on his departure. <br />In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set <br />my hand and cause the Seal of the City of <br />North Olmsted to be affixed this Nineteenth <br />day of June 2018. <br />Kevin M.
