CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82-161 <br />BY: RUSSELL BIERMAN <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE USE OF A RESIDENT <br />IDENTIFICATION CARD TO BE USED BY RESIDENTS OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE <br />OF RESIDENT DISCOUNTS AT THE RECREATION CENTER <br />COMPLEX, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, tliis Council adopted Ordinance No. 82-95 whi.ch <br />in part contained provisions for Resident Identification Cards, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to modify the <br />provisions dealing with Resident Identification Cards and the <br />costs therefor. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That a Resident Identification Card be <br />establisi? for all residents of the City of North Olmsted who <br />wish to participate in programs of the North Olmsted Parks and <br />Recreation Department. <br />A. Identification cards shall be issued by <br />the Parks and Recreation Department to <br />residents of North Olmsted. Such cards <br />shall include the name, address and phone <br />number of the applicant resident as well <br />as a photograph. <br />B. The fee for processing a card, as herein- <br />before specified, shall be $2.50 for the <br />first member of the family, and $1.75 each for <br />all add.itional members of a family making <br />application under the provisions of this <br />Ordinance. <br />Replacement cards shall be issued after <br />the payment of a fee of $2.00. <br />C. The Director of Parks and Recreation shall <br />establish times for the purchase of the <br />identification cards. Residency must be <br />verified through a current voter registration <br />card, land tax statement, or other means of <br />verification as approved by the Recreation <br />Director. Children may be verified through <br />their parents. <br />D. Residents displaying the identification card <br />shall be entitled to take advantage of the <br />resident rate as established by ordinance of <br />the City of North Olmsted. Any non-card <br />holder or non-card carrier shall be charged <br />the non-resident fee in all cases. No refunds <br />shall be made for any fees paid prior to obtain- <br />ing a resident card.
