CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 82-134 <br />BY: MRS. SARINGER <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STORM WATER <br />INLET CONTROLS IN THE AREA APPROXIMATELY BOUND BY MAPLE <br />RIDGE ROAD, WALTER ROAD, GESSNER ROAD AND COLUMBIA ROAD, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted is nearing completion of <br />Phase I, the engineering analysis and design to install stormwater inlet <br />controls in the area approximately bound by Maple Ridge Road, Walter <br />Road, Gessner Road and Columbia Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the construction of this project is to be funded <br />one hundred percent (100a) through Community Block Grant Funds; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the <br />Director of Public Service to advertise for bids with respect to this <br />project, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the installation <br />of storm water inlet controls in the area approximately bound by Maple <br />Ridge Road, Walter Road, Gessner Road and Columbia Road, which project <br />shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the <br />office of the Director of Public Service and the office of the City <br />Engineer, and that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor <br />is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immed- <br />iately necessary to begin the project during favorable weather, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thrids of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force upon <br />its passage and approval by the b4ayor. <br />PASSED: _j / 19.V.2- <br />ATTEST: <br />PLORENCE E.
